RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Duties include analyzing and summarizing information on statutes, memoranda, and other legal material; examining and analyzing complaints and evidence of alleged or suspected violations of laws or regulations; assisting with filing decisions; examining legal instruments or other documents to ensure completeness of information and conformance to pertinent laws, rules, regulations, precedents or office requirements; answering incoming calls, and maintaining case files and necessary paperwork for attorney’s trial schedules. This position also requires data entry, occasional filing, front desk backup, and other duties as requested. The successful candidate will have excellent people and organizational skills and the ability to interface effectively with outside agencies.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Position requires graduation from a standard high school and successful completion of a two-year program of study in paralegal work or four-year paralegal degree.
DESIRED SKILLS
Strong STAC skills, Clerk database, Word, and Excel experience desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is a must.
